Yoga and Physiotherapy

The  intersection of  physiotherapy and yoga shows a shared  emphasis on movement, alignment, and function.   Yoga  and physiotherapy  also  emphasise  the importance  of  proper  posture  and  body alignment  to  prevent  injury  and  improve physical function.

Anusara yoga classes are run each Saturday morning led by the senior physiotherapist Sarah Carr.  As you move from posture to posture, slowly stretching with Anusara yoga,  Sarah gently invokes grace,  spirituality and opening your heart to life’s diversity.
