Simon Zihlmann sees himself as a “coach” not a “fixer” and uses a variety of hands-on therapies and a strength and conditioning approach to allow people to optimise their lifestyle. He focuses on the use of APPI Pilates to encourage people to stay fit and keep active.
Simon is passionate about empowering people to recover from their pain, achieving their objectives, and getting them back to the things that matter most to them. He uses a variety of hands-on treatments such as athletic taping, dry needling, and manual therapy to restore function. As things improve, he will focus on exercise therapy, advice and education, and building self-efficacy.
Originally from Canada, Simon graduated from the University of Salford in 2017 and has since worked in a variety of countries including the UK, Canada, and Ireland. He has worked in the public service as a Rotational Physiotherapist in the NHS as well as in private practice settings in Canada and Ireland.
